7:31 am – C&I semi on Highway 13 south of Jameson.

7:35 am – Cow out at Highway C and Highway 13.

9 am – Court in session.

10:12 am – Moriah Strein, 37, Gallatin, was arrested on Clay County warrant for contempt of court on original charges of non-support. Strein posted a $3,075 bond and was released.

3 pm – Dustin Teel, 31, Gallatin, was charged with a bond violation on original charges of felony assault and property damage. Teel is being held at DDCRJ on $35,000 bond.

5:21 pm – Car reported stolen from Ray County may be at residence in Daviess County. Deputy checked for car and was not found.

7 pm – Gallatin PD arrested Dalton Bloss, 23, Bethany, for an active Daviess County warrant for probation violation on original charges of traffic violations. Bloss was transferred to DDCRJ on $500 bond which he later posted.

9 am – Court in session.

10:24 am – Complaint of dumping on city property in Jamesport.

3:26 pm – Verbal dispute over property at business north of Gallatin.

5:30 pm – Advised of vehicle left in parking lot of business in Winston that has been running with no one around.

5:18 am – Caller advising having problems with member of family.

12:20 pm – Advised of suspicious vehicle parked near road north of Gallatin.

1:45 pm – Cow out on Highway 69 south of Pattonsburg.

6:38 am – Suspicious vehicle reported driving around residence. Subject was looking for lost drone.

9:16 am – Complaint regarding scam callers.

12:10 pm – Horse out on Y Highway in Winston.

1:40 pm – Assisting DFS with call near Winston.

2:50 pm – Out with abandoned vehicle.

4 pm – A Daviess County warrant was issued for Jennifer Mendoza, 38, Gallatin, for class C felony abuse of a child and class A misdemeanor 3rd degree assault after an incident that occurred in Gallatin, in which she displayed aggressive behavior towards two of her children. Mendoza was arrested by Gallatin PD on 12-8-16 and transferred to DDCRJ. Bond is set at $35,000.

5:16 pm – Out with stranded motorist on Highway 6 near Altamont.

8:13 pm – Horse out on Highway Y in Winston.

12-10-16

12:56 am – Report of unruly subject in Jamesport.  Left house and is walking. Not sure of medical condition.

1:16 pm – Subject from above call was found and is OK. Will be going back home.

11:06 am – Domestic disturbance outside of Winston.

12:28 pm – Subject from above domestic has been taken into custody and transferred to DDCRJ on 24-hour investigative hold. Charges pending.

1:30 pm – MSHP arrested Trevor Seibert, 23, West Des Moines, IA, for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Seibert was transferred to DDCRJ on $750 cash bond.

12-11-16

2:35 am – Cameron PD advising they have Eric Craig, 25, Hamilton, on Daviess County warrant for probation violations. The original misdemeanor charges are possession of marijuana, paraphernalia and endangering welfare of a child. Craig was transferred to DDCRJ on $2,500 cash bond.

11 am – Charges were filed on subject arrested for domestic disturbance on 12-10-16.  Giovanni Scott, 21, Sacramento, Calif., was charged with class C felony domestic assault, 2nd degree and class A misdemeanor 3rd degree domestic assault. The charges are due to an incident at a Winston residence during which he attempted to choke his wife during an altercation. He also prevented her from calling for help. Bond is set at $25,000 cash.

5:04 pm – Report of car on I-35 going southbound in the northbound lanes.

5:44 pm – Responding to disturbance between dog owner and enforcement officer in Altamont.

12-12-16

11:24 am – Cows out on Highway 13 north of Highway 6.

2:35 pm – MSHP arrested Sameckia Oakley, 40, Des Moines, Iowa, on a Daviess County warrant for FTA  for no valid license, misdemeanor. Oakley posted a bond of $150 at the sheriff’s office and was released.

8:05 pm – Resident thought someone was trying to get into his house near Lake Viking. When deputy arrived, all realized it was only a cat.
