County Commission

James Lewis, road and bridge supervisor, reported that the crews will be placing a corrugated metal pipe on Drake Avenue in Salem Township.

Ron Urton, Howe and Company, discussed BRO bridges under construction in Daviess County and the new position he has accepted at the City of Trenton.

Jerome Houghton discussed Otter Avenue and the maintenance of the road. Commissioners will review the road and will discuss with Liberty Township Board.

Commissioners signed the agreement with Children’s Mercy Hospital for 2017.

Commissioners reviewed roads, brush and bridges in Lincoln and Washington Townships.

Associate Division

Defendants found guilty in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County are listed below with the offense and fine assessed. Additionally, court costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $68.50 for moving traffic violations and $116.50 in most criminal cases. Judge Daren L. Adkins presided over the following cases:

Steven R. Driskell, Excelsior Springs, possession of marijuana, 10 days jail, board bill paid by defendant; possession of drug paraphernalia, $150.

David C. McKinnon, Cameron, driving while intoxicated, 10 days shock jail; leaving the scene of accident, suspended imposition of sentence, 2 years probation, 6 months supervised, 30 hours community service.

Brent M. Harris, Kansas City, probation violation on criminal non-support, probation revoked, 3 years Missouri Department of Corrections.

Vincent A. Sterner, Kansas City, domestic assault, suspended imposition of sentence, 2 years probation, 1 year supervised, 30 days shock jail, no contact with the victim.

Bradyn B. Gardner, Pattonsburg, driving while intoxicated, $350.

Weston K. Boyd, Gallatin, driving while intoxicated, suspended imposition of sentence, 2 years probation.

Ronald Osburn, Jamesport, no valid license, $150.

Kristine Luna, Kansas City, no valid license, $150.

Civil Court

Contract: Capital One. N.A. vs. Beverly A. Hunter was dismissed by the parties.

In Danny and Deborah Daniel, Pattonsburg, vs. Mediacom LLC and State of Missouri ex rel Missouri Highways and Transportation, a change of venue from Carroll County, a petition for damages and declaratory relief was dismissed by the court with prejudice.
