8:06 am – Car vs. deer on I-35 at the 58mm. No injuries.

1:06 pm – Report of pickup stolen from residence near Highway DD and Highway 69. Vehicle was taken during the overnight hours of 10-25-16. The vehicle taken was a flatbed 1996 Ford F-250 diesel pickup with a farm fuel tank on the bed. Two guns and tools were inside the truck. Please contact the Sheriff’s Office if you see this truck.

3:40 pm – Complaint of missing WIC vouchers.

10-27-16

1 am – MSHP arrested Angel Ponce, 28, St Paul, Minn., for active United States Marshal Services warrant for possession of marijuana, battery upon a peace officer, and resisting arrest. Ponce was picked up by the US Marshals at approximately 10 am.

Also arrested was Rodolpo Cordova, 43, also from St. Paul, for a felony warrant out of El Paso County, Colo., for possession/sale of controlled substance, carrying a concealed firearm and possession of a firearm while intoxicated.  Cordova will have an extradition hearing on Nov. 1.

12:27 am – Complaint of dogs barking in Altamont.

3:32 am – Report of possible drunk driver on I-35 at the 73mm.

4:50 am – Car vs. deer east of Jamesport. No injuries.

9:51 am – Report of abandoned vehicle on 165th Street in Altamont.

1:15 pm – Two-car accident on Highway 69 at the I-35 overpass. No injuries.

4:33 pm – Vehicle that was stolen from Daviess County on 10-25-16 has been located in DeKalb County just north of the Cameron city limits. The car was left on the side of the road. Suspect did not take guns or tools from the truck.

8 pm – Caller advising they heard gun fire in Jamesport.

6:38 pm – Report of several cows out on Highway 69, 5 miles north of Cameron.

6:46 pm – Report of gas drive off in Hamilton heading north on Highway 13.

7 am – Justin Blackburn, 32, Cameron, was arrested on probation violation warrant on original charge of DWI. Blackburn was released per P&P on Oct. 31.

8:39 am – Report of abandoned vehicle on property.  May be trespassing.

12:40 am – MSHP requesting assistance with traffic stop.

1:35 pm – Stranded motorist on I-35 at the 76mm.

3:34 pm – Liberty Hospital reporting incident that supposedly occurred in Daviess County earlier.

5:17 pm – CRMC reporting dog bite.

7:34 pm – Call reference property dispute.

7:58 pm – Second call regarding above.

10:47 pm – Possible drunk driver on Highway 6 by the Winston racetrack.

11:21 pm – Grundy County advising of possible domestic situation in Jamesport.

5:58 am – Report of damage to mailbox on 170th Street north of Kidder.

1:31 pm – Caller believes he may have found car that was stolen in Gentry County wrecked in field near Pattonsburg. Car was found and returned to current owner.  The car had not been reported to Law Enforcement as being stolen. The car was used as part of a Halloween prop and there was no actual accident.

10:30 pm – MSHP arrested Christen Kennard, 35, Nowata, OK, for driving while suspended, misdemeanor. Kennard posted a $500 cash bond and was released.

10-31-16

4:59 am – Abandoned vehicle on Drake Avenue east of Highway 13 in Coffey.

5:42 am – Complaint regarding noisy neighbor at apartments in Jamesport.

11 am – Sheriff out at Pattonsburg Senior Center for presentation.

6:20 pm – Peter Deleski, 48, Gallatin, was arrested for no valid license, second offense, misdemeanor. Deleski was transferred to DDCRJ pending warrant.

7 pm – Earl McAfee, 26, Gallatin, was arrested on two Daviess County warrants for FTA on probation violation, original charges of 6 counts of passing bad checks, misdemeanor.  McAfee was transferred to DDCRJ on $770 cash bond.

9:23 pm – Report of domestic dispute in parking lot of business in Jamesport.

9:59 pm – Out with subject from above.  Two-hour no contact rule invoked.
