Youth from the Knee-Hi and Brushy Squirrels 4-H Clubs were recognized for a very successful 2015-2016 program year at the Jamesport elementary school on Sunday, Oct. 16.
Members were recognized for attending 4-H Camp; exhibiting projects at the local, regional and state level; participating at the Missouri State Fair by doing demonstrations; exhibiting livestock; and the horse show.
Clover Kids received pins and sunglasses.

2015-2016 Daviess County Rookies of the Year are Kaylen Sternecker – Knee-Hi 4-H Club on the left and Allee Prescott – Brushy Squirrels on the right.
Additional awards handed out by 4-H Youth Development Specialist Becky Simpson included the following: Secretary Book, Libby Endicott with Knee-Hi 4-H Club; Missouri Project Record, Hailey Eads with Brushy Squirrels; Missouri Recognition Form Libby Endicott and Alex Endicott both with the Knee-Hi 4-H Club.
The final award of the day was to recognize an outstanding first or second year member from each club. Knee-Hi Rookie of the Year was Kaylen Sterneker and Brushy Squirrels Rookie of the Year was Allee Prescott.
