Daviess County Farm Bureau is hosting a “meet-the-candidates” forum at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Gallatin Lions Club building, 801 W. Grand, in Gallatin.

The event is open to the public.
There are four local races:
Sheriff: Democrat Ben Becerra and Republican Kevin Heldenbrand;
Assessor: Democrat Sally Black and Republican Ronetta Burton
Public Administrator: Democrat Kathy Kyser and Republican Kayla Michael;
Associate Commissioner District 2: Democrat Carl Carder and Republican Wayne Uthe
