Everett Ensley Buzzard was born on Nov. 1, 1943, to Elma Edgar and Nellie Mae (Griffey) Buzzard. He passed away on Sept. 23, 2016.
Everett joined the United States Navy in 1961, during the Vietnam War and served until 1964. Everett joined the Missouri Army National Guard, serving with the 135th Signal Battalion, in 1981, and was honorably discharged in 1998.

Everett was a hard working, jack-of-all-trades, and could often be found tinkering in his garage. If something was broke, Everett would fix it. Everett enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. Everett also enjoyed playing cards, horseshoes, and other games with friends, family, and neighbors. Everett was friendly and was usually seen with a smile on his face. Everett was known to be ornery and enjoyed playing jokes on others.
