This October 22, the undead will roam Trenton as part of the first ever Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri (CAPNCM) Zombie Run. CAPCNM serves nine core counties, including Daviess.

The 5k race will begin at 7 p.m. near Eastside Park, and finish in the parking lot of the CAP agency located at 1506 Oklahoma Ave in Trenton. Participants will receive many goodies, including a t-shirt and bottled water, with the top three survivors each receiving a zombie run medal. Costumes and make-up are strongly encouraged for zombie participants. Additional awards will be handed out for best costume and the three zombies who collect the most flags. After the race, participants and supporters can refuel in the Safe Zone with snacks and drinks, and shop with various local vendors.
Registration is $30 per runner/zombie, with a small discount for sponsors. Proceeds of the race will benefit CAPNCM and its many poverty fighting programs.
