The Laureate Delta Rho chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met August 29 at the home of Carol Wood for beginning day, the first meeting of their new year. The program was “Hearts.” The chapter decided to donate a basket for the fundraiser Kickin’ Cancer with Kindness which will be held Oct. 8 from 5 to 6:30 in the street in front of the United Methodist Church.
