Michael Nevin Warnes of Kansas City, Mo. died Sept. 2, 2016 of heart and lung disease in Vero Beach, Fla. Cremation.

He was born on Dec. 19, 1944 in Gallatin, to Isadora Nevin Warnes and Melba Lee Blackburn Warnes (deceased).
He is survived by his sweetheart, Christine Pitts Slater, married July 1, 2000.
He married Donna McCale May 23, 1975 (divorced) and with Donna had two children, Michael W (Kelly) and Tiffany L. Warnes Warczakoski (Michael).
He loved his children and his grandchildren with all of his heart; Blake Warnes, Breanna Warnes, Brooklyn Warnes and Riley Warczakoski, all Kansas City, Mo.
He is also survived by his siblings, Karen Clarke, Woodland Hills, Calif. and Danny (Sue) Warnes, Gallatin.
His happiest memories have been living in the RV and traveling around the country. He enjoyed vacationing with family the last couple of years and all the pool parties with all the kids and their friends.
During the last years he was blessed with so many loving friends, especially close to the Reynolds, Jerry and Sara, Gene (Stella) and Casey. He was known to many others as a good friend.
His furry sons, Willie Nelson and Cooper will especially miss their nap time with Daddy.
We asked that you celebrate Mike’s life each day by loving those around you. No services were held. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
