William “Bill” Francis Michael, 75, Winston, died Aug. 31, 2016.

Bill was born on June 21, 1941 in Half Rock, Mo. to Joseph Andrew and Evelyn Louise (Cramer) Michael.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dianne; brother, Jody; and sister, Jane Michael.

Bill was a 1959 graduate of Princeton High School. He worked as a carpenter for Jenkins and Associates, Kansas City, before retiring.

He was a member of the Carpenter Local #61, Kansas City; Winston Historical Society and Winston Cemetery Board. He was a very active community member.

Survivors are 3 sons, Marty (Michelle) Michael, King of Prussia, Pa., Joe (Tracy) Michael, Winston, and Chris (Cheryl) Michael, Kearney; 6 grandchildren, Joseph (Megan) Michael, Rachel Michael, William Michael, Tyler Michael, Jessica Michael and Miranda Michael; 1 great-grandson, Wyatt Michael; 2 brothers, John (Cathy) Michael and Ben (Janice) Michael; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation is 5:30-8:30 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at Winston Cemetery, Winston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Winston Historical Society and/or Boy Scout Troop #167, Winston.
