soldier Trevor Muzzy USAFA '16Second Lieutenant Trevor L. Muzzy earned his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy on June 2, 2016.  He was recognized as a “Distinguished Graduate” for his outstanding athletic, academic, and military performance. During his cadet career, Lt Muzzy achieved perfect scores on his physical fitness tests and placed second at the U.S. Parachuting Collegiate Championships as a member of the Academy’s “Wings of Blue” team. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering.

Lt Muzzy was selected for the following leadership positions while at the Air Force Academy:  Commander of “Wings of Blue” Parachuting Team, Commander of Introductory Parachuting Course, Squadron Training Officer and Ranger at Philmont Scout Ranch.

His first duty assignment will be Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training at Sheppard AFB, Texas.  Lt Muzzy is the grandson of Gallatin native Scherryl Osborn and the son of Douglas and Gina (Osborn) Muzzy of Columbia.
