A new flag was donated for the Mildred McBroom Memorial flag pole at Lions Club Park by Sue Brodt of Jameson. The flag was flown over the United States Capitol on Nov. 21, 2005, at the request of Kent Conrad, United States Senator. The flag was flown for Louise Mathews Harris on the occasion of her 90th birthday. Pictured are Kendra McMahon of Coffey, twins Emerie Kale and Miley Kale of Chillicothe, and Wayne Wood.
