Funeral services for Larry Allen were held July 15, at the United Methodist Church, Gilman City, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial was in Coffey Cemetery. Larry Allen, 77, Gilman City, died July 13, 2016, at Bethany Care Center, Bethany.

Survivors include his son, Carl (Beverly) Allen, Gilman City; daughter, Cathy (Doug) Taggart, Gilman City; sister, Carolyn Tharp, Carlyle, Ill.; step-daughter, Gerry (Jim) Hagemann, Colorado Springs, Colo.; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
