James Lewis, road and bridge supervisor, and his crew are placing guardrail on the bridge on 292nd Street this week.
Ron Urton, Howe & Company, discussed easements and right-of-ways for bridges in the county. Commissioners signed an agreement with Harrington Family LLC for the donation of permanent and temporary easements for the BRO-B031(36), Bridge No. 43100222.
Tonya Lohman, MoDOT, discussed county issues regarding bridges.
Doug Boe, River Bluff Architectures, discussed bid specifications on the Daviess County Nursing and Rehabilitation roof reconstruction project.
Becky Simpson, MU Extension, discussed 2017 budget items for the Daviess County Extension Office.
Assessor Betty Harmison and Diane McLey discussed a rescheduling of the Board of Equalization meeting to July 20 with the commissioners. The Board of Equalization meeting is rescheduled from July 13 to July 20 at 8:30 a.m.
Clint Vanatta discussed right-of-ways and easements for property in Monroe Township.
Mary Hacking, Daviess County Arts Council, discussed Chautauqua September 16-18, 2016. Commissioners agreed to let the courthouse lawn be used for Chautauqua.
Randy Mendenhall, Snyder and Associates, discussed BRO-B031(34) easements and dirt work.
The commissioners visited Jamesport, Grand River, Harrison, Monroe, and Union Townships to view bridges, brush issues and culverts.
These are the unapproved minutes of July 6, 2016. David Cox, first district commissioner, called the meeting to order. Carl Carder, second district commissioner was also present. Randy Sims, presiding commissioner, was absent. One visitor attending was Dylan Leeper. Minutes were approved, and bills authorized.

The following cases were heard by Judge Thomas Chapman on July 6:
In Elizabeth Preston et al vs. Gregory N. Orear et al, a personal injury jury trial was set for Aug. 17-18-19.
A half-day bench trial was set for Aug. 24 in Michael C. Williamson vs. Barry Bray and Donna Bray, on a petition to establish a private road.
Dissolutions of marriage were granted to Matthew Keith Huff from Constance Renee Huff, to Robert Carroll Williams Jr. from Diane Louise Williams, and to Francesca Schmidt from Kevin Schmidt, with her maiden name Wedlock restored.

Associate Division
Jose Torralbamendez, San Diego, Calif., was charged July 5 with felony possession of controlled substance and misdemeanor speeding. He was arrested during a traffic stop on I-35 by the Missouri Highway Patrol on July 4.
Bridgette L. Callaway, Independence, was charged July 11 with tampering with motor vehicle, class C felony. Callaway allegedly took a Dodge Durango on June 28 from a Lake Viking residence without the owner’s consent.

Promissory Note: A consent judgment was entered for Brookwood Loans of Missouri, LLC and against Dawn Pickard.
