Winston High School senior Craig Lewis recently participated in USA’s Junior Men’s (19 and Under) National Fastpitch Training Camp in Bloomington, Ill.

The week of activity featured day-time practice and evening games with men’s teams. Lewis will be flown for another week of camp in Ashland Ohio on July 13, and continue on from there to Midland, Mich., site of the World Tournament, which opens on July 24 with 13 nations participating.
The U. S. team will compete in pool play against Botswana, Argentina, Venezuela, Denmark, Czech Republic and Australia. Tournament play begins July 28.
Craig is the youngest player trying to make the 17-man roster.
