A Kansas teenager was injured in an accident that happened at about 6:10 p.m. in Daviess County.
According to the highway patrol, Christiana Blundell, Manhattan, Kan., was driving a 2005 Volkswagon northbound on Hwy. 13. About three miles south of Gallatin, she lost control of her vehicle and ran off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle came back onto the roadway and overcorrected, went back off the right side again and overturned multiple times down an embankment, coming to rest on its wheels in a field.
Ms. Blundell was taken by private vehicle to Liberty Hospital. She was wearing her seat belt. An injury type was not available in the report.
The car was totaled.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. A.D. Martin, assisted by Sgt. M.A. Ott, Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, and Daviess County Ambulance.
