Two area teenagers were involved in an accident at about 2:38 p.m. on June 5 in Daviess County, with one sent to the hospital with moderate injuries.

According to the highway patrol, Tanner Hermanson, 15, Cameron, and Jared Groebe, 15, Osborn, were traveling southbound on Haven Road, about half a mile south of Old Pattonsburg. Both were driving a 2005 Honda TRX 450. Jared was traveling behind Tanner and struck his ATV in the rear. Tanner’s vehicle overturned multiple times, ejecting him.
Tanner was taken by NTA Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He was wearing a safety device.
The quads had minor damage.
The accident was investigated by Trp. A.D. Martin, assisted by Daviess County.
