A Pattonsburg man was seriously inured in an accident that happened at about 9:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, in Gentry County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as Kalen Siddens, 25, Albany, and Dylan Willis, 25, Pattonsburg, were both southbound on Birch Street at Bethany Street in Albany. Mr. Willis was driving a 2002 Honda ATV. It struck the left rear of Mr. Sidden’s 2007 Honda ATV. Mr. Willis traveled off the east side of the roadway, began to overturn, crossed Bethany Street, traveled off the south side of Bethany Street, struck a street sign and came to rest a short distance from the street sign. Mr. Willis was ejected. Mr. Siddens brought his ATV to a controlled stop.

M Willis was transported by Grand River Ambulance to Northwest Medical Center in Albany. He was not wearing a safety device.

The 2002 Honda ATV driven by Mr. Willis had extensive damage.

The accident was investigated by Tpr. B.I. Israel, assisted by Tpr. M.J. Miller and Gentry County Sheriff’s Department.

Mr. Willis was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol at 9:50 p.m. in Gentry County. He was charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released, according to the patrol’s report.
