The asphalt bid for the new middle school parking lot was accepted from Herzog Contracting Corporation as presented at $29,460 during the May 17 meeting of the Gallatin R-5 Board of Education.

The resignation of Julie Critten at the end of this school year was accepted.

Nicole Gann was offered a custodian position effective June 1.

Karen Young was offered a secretary position and Jennifer Youtsey was offered a preschool teacher position for the next school year.

Pam Critten and Amy McNeely will split the STUCO sponsorship and Susan Allen and Jennifer Adkison will split the junior high cheer sponsorship for 2016-2017.

Dr. Copple gave a preliminary budget report and updated the board on the progress of the new middle school.

Mr. Burke presented his ISS/At Risk reports and a list of A+ students, which the board approved.

The board entered closed session for discussing personnel.

Dr. Copple told the board that bids and MSBA policy updates will be presented at the June 16 meeting.

Next meeting is June 16 at 7 p.m.
