Rob was born Dec. 6, 1965 to Robert L. Collins and Sharron (Hill) Collins-Jones in Bethany, Mo. Rob attended all 12 years of school in the Gallatin School District. He graduated in 1984. While in high school, Rob was a member of the National Guard and a Volunteer Fireman. He excelled in football, baseball, and wrestling. After high school, Rob attended the VoTech School in St. Joseph where he studied heating and cooling.

Rob worked at Ford Motor Company in Claycomo for 14 years. He worked for Fell Seeding and Mulching for over 10 years. His real job title, though was FARMER. He loved farming with his father Robert, and loved raising cattle and taking care of his farm. Rob loved spending time outdoors mushroom hunting and was always willing to share with family and friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and cherished the time he spent taking his children, nieces, and nephews hunting and fishing. He also loved taking the kids “4-wheeling” and he loved to play pranks. Rob was a father figure to many. He was a kind-hearted, giving, and generous soul who will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Rob was preceded in death by his step-father, Jack Jones, and step-mother, Sandra Collins.

Rob is survived by his wife, Mandy; his daughters Laci Gray-Collins (Tim) of Kirksville, Taylor Collins; step-kids Vallorie and Caleb Kinnison of the home; father Robert L.
