On May 28, The Community Cupboard Food Pantry in Cameron will be hosting its 4th Annual Hunger Run, a 115 mile motorcycle dice run to generate funding to help nourish members of the community who have trouble making ends meet. The run will include a ride through neighboring Caldwell County.

Community Cupboard is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, non government funded organization. The Cupboard serves Daviess, Clinton, Caldwell, Dekalb and parts of Ray counties. Over 2,000 pounds of food was donated to Daviess last year.        

The Run will take place Saturday, May 28, with registration starting at 8-10 a.m.  Kickstands up and first bike will be out at 10:30 a.m. Free breakfast is provided for all participants.

The cost is: $25 per rider, plus $15 for passenger. A 25% discount is offered to military personnel (past or present), and 15% to any Freedom of The Road Riders members.  Discounts may be combined.

The show will have two divisions.

First Division: top 25 plaques, 15 honorable mention ribbons, best trike, bagger, cruiser, street bike, best of show, best paint for standard and metric bike, host choice, people’s choice, high roll and low roll.

The second division pays honor and tribute to military personnel. This division will include top 10 plaques, high roll and low roll, and best of show trophies

Door prizes, 50/50, silent auction, t-shirts, and more will also be available during the run.
