- The cycle of abuse can occur randomly but can also increase in frequency the longer you remain in a relationship.
- For example: You may start out a relationship and a blow up occurs one time a year, the longer you remain in the relationship the frequency may begin to occur monthly, weekly, and as much as several times a day.
