11:13 am – Assisting conservation agent with investigation in Winston.

4:52 pm – Reports of multiple funnel clouds in the areas of Kidder, Winston and Altamont.  Report of trees uprooted, out buildings damaged by tree and shingles off the roof at residence south of Winston. No other reports of damage.

3:15 pm – Out on search warrant at residence south of Gallatin.

6:33 pm – Two people in custody and transferred to DDCRJ from above search and put on 24-hour investigative hold.

 

4-30-16

9:59 am – Cow out on Highway E, 5 miles east of Santa Rosa on 100th Street.

11:09 am – Report of cow in pasture that does not belong to resident.

1:30 pm – Funeral escort.

11 am – Roger Dale Hess, 48, and Celeste Spangler, 53, both from Gallatin, were charged with class C felony possession of controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of less than 35 grams of a synthetic cannabinoid and four counts unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Both were arrested on 4-29-16. Bond is set at $20,000 cash for each.

6:09 pm – Person requesting well-being check on family member in Altamont. All OK.

10:07 pm – Possible drunk driver in old town Pattonsburg.

11:55 pm – Subject wanting to file report regarding possible stalking.

9:51 am – Cow out on Highway 13 south of Highway HH.

1:58 pm – Report of large pig loose in Altamont.

2:52 pm – Andrew Johnson, 38, Jameson, was arrested and transferred to DDCRJ for DWI.  Johnson was released following a 12-hour detox hold.

 

5-2-16

3:12 am – Cameron PD advising that subjects shoplifted from Walmart and are believed to be headed northbound on Highway 69 into Daviess County.

3:10 pm – Well-being check in Winston.

3:35 pm – Assisting DFS with home visit.

2:20 pm – MSHP arrested Mitchell Woolard, 26, Trenton, on a FTA warrant out of Daviess County for driving while revoked, misdemeanor. Woolard was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where he posted a $450 bond and was released.

4:05 pm – Report of two Clydesdale horses out on Highway 6 west of Jamesport.

6:25 pm – Brian Attebury, 26, Maryville, was transferred to DDCRJ from Nodaway County on Daviess County warrant for FTA on probation violations. Original charges were passing bad checks. Bond is set at $500 cash only.

9:05 pm – Report of rollover accident on I-35 at the 57mm. No serious injuries.
