Ron and Vicki Burns mark 50 years

Adobe Photoshop PDFRon and Vicki Burns of Gallatin will observe their 50th anniversary on May 17, 2016. They were married on that date in 1966 at the Baptist parsonage in Gallatin, by Marlin Moody. It was the day before Vicki graduated from high school. Ronnie was on three-day leave from the U.S. Army National Guard. Judge Charles Brandom waived the three-day waiting period for the young couple.

They have lived their entire life in Gallatin and are the parents of four children, Brant Burns and wife Tara, Dawn Litton and husband Bruce, Amber Hiley and husband Darren, and Erin Moffett and husband Jeff.

They have nine grandchildren, Sydney and Lyndsey Ernat, Aubrey, Addison and Abby Burns, Jacob and Madison Hiley, Jack Cornell and Makena Moffett.

No special occasion is planned, due to Ron’s health, but they would enjoy hearing from all friends and family. The address is 511 Park Street, Gallatin, Mo., 64640.
