Four outstanding area students, including Aubrey Burns of Gallatin, have received scholarships awarded through the Smithfield Hog Production Missouri (SHP MO) Scholarship Program for this academic year.

Aubrey Burns of Gallatin will receive a $500 scholarship through the SHP MO Community Scholarship Program. The scholarship is open to all graduating seniors attending high school in Missouri counties where Smithfield Hog Production Missouri has company-owned operations.
Aubrey Burns is the daughter of Brantly and Tara Burns. Aubrey is a senior at Gallatin R-5 High School with plans to attend the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kan., following graduation, where she plans to study pre-pharmacy.
Paige Kelley of Stanberry; Hunter Boxley of Princeton, and Mollie Sievers of Cameron also received scholarships.
