Graveside services for Lawrence Edwards will be held May 1, 2016, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, located southeast of Hamilton on State Road U. Arrangements were by Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron.

Lawrence Lynn Edwards, 85, Grand Junction, Colo., died on, March 24, 2016.
Lawrence was born on Nov. 2, 1930, in Hamilton, to Isaac Edwards and Grace (Lewis) Edwards.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wilford, Donald Sr., and Isaac Wray; sisters, Dorothy Larson, Jean Ridenour and Goldie Pesikan.
Lawrence was a 1948 graduate of Winston High School. He served in the Army from 1951 to 1953. Lawrence worked as a cowboy in his earlier years and later became self-employed as a backhoe operator in Grand Junction.
Survivors include one brother, Kenneth Edwards, Fayetteville, Pa.; and two sisters, Lily Bigley, Vernon, Conn., and Jewel King, St. Joseph.
