The Pattonsburg R-2 School Board carried a motion to approve the 2016-2017 Salary Schedule with a $450 to the base, which is a 2.98% increase for all other staff, and add a life insurance policy for all employees who qualify for benefits.

In other business at the meeting, resignations were accepted from Angie McCrary as Parents As Teachers and Samantha Oram as third grade teacher.
Jacqueline Reed was hired for an elementary teaching position.
Extra-duty assignments for 2015-2016 were approved.
The list of non-certified employees was approved. (Hoover abstained on Nichel Crone and Booth abstained on Sandra Booth).
Proposition 2 Bond Issue passed with a 75% voting yes and 25% voting no and the board approved the election.
The board approved the contract with McKinstry for construction management services.
The board entered into executive session to discuss personnel, student matters, and legal issues.
Superintendent Clawson administered the oath of office to new board members Jason Teel and Nathan Woodward. Jason Teel will be board president; Stephanie Mason vice-president; Pam Plymell secretary; Laura Booth treasurer.
The board thanked Lincoln Cornett for 12 years of service as a member of the board of education.
The board approved bills and to Transfer from Fund 1 to Fund 3 for General Obligation Bond payment.
