3-2 in tourney

Gallatin took a 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning but the Lady Shamrocks tied the score with a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth. The Lady Bulldogs could not produce a threat in the final four frames and North Harrison claimed a 3-2 win with a lone run in the sixth.

Bailey Maxwell’s triple accounted for one of only two GHS hits.

Gallatin edged Stanberry, 3-1, in the semifinal round. Maxwell and Karley Salmon each contributed a pair of hits for the winners. Tristyn Siegel and Sami Boyd each doubled for Gallatin. Boyd earned the victory on the mound.

Gallatin jumped out to a 6-0 lead over Albany in their tournament opener but the Lady Warriors came back their half of the third with five runs. An 8-run Lady Bulldog outburst in the bottom of the fourth accounted for a 14-5 GHS win.

Kelsie Huggins drove in four runs for Gallatin with three hits. Aubrey Burns plated three runs with a pair of hits. Salmon took the win on the mound.
