A Breckenridge man recently passed a counterfeit $100 bill at the Jamesport Grocery Store, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.

Tyler Shane Parker, 23, was charged Aug. 31 in Caldwell County with misdemeanor counterfeiting and drug paraphernalia. He is being held on $7,500 bond and will be arraigned Sept. 3 before Judge Jason Kanoy in Caldwell County. Charges are also pending in Daviess County.

Area businesses are warned to carefully examine all bills that are received, due to the presence of counterfeit bills in the area.
