Small, nonfarm businesses in 112 Missouri counties, including Daviess, and neighboring counties in Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Tennessee are now eligible to apply for low‑interest federal disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). These loans offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by the excessive rainfall and flooding.
