Funeral services for Orval Heldenbrand were held Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at the Cameron United Methodist Church. Burial was at the Cameron Memory Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Cameron United Methodist Church and/or Festival of Sharing. Arrangements were by Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron.

Orval Dale Heldenbrand, 90, Cameron, died on Aug. 21, 2015.
Orval was born in Winston on June 13, 1925, to Jesse and Ada (Wilkinson) Heldenbrand.
He was a graduate of Cameron High School, a lifelong farmer and worked for the City of Cameron as a lineman, before retiring.
Orval was a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church.
On May 1, 1949, Orval married Dorotha Reno, she survives of the home.
Other survivors include daughter, Deanna (Dennis) McCurdy, Brandon, Miss.; two sons, Lonnie (Sharon) Heldenbrand, Fort Worth, Texas, and Stanley (Pamela) Heldenbrand, Henderson, Ken; two brothers, Don (Mary Lou) Heldenbrand and Harold (Jane) Heldenbrand; one sister, Betty Heldenbrand; one step-grandchild; and three grandchildren.
