The Laureate Delta Rho chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met on Aug. 24 at the home of Ruth Frost for Beginning Day. Nita Cragg reported on the birthday lunch for Kay Kordes at the Blue Sage in Hamilton. Nancy Terry reported on the July 22 outing to the Black Silo Winery in Trenton to celebrate the other summer birthdays. Carol Wood handed out the new yearbook and discussed changes. Linda Bridgeman discussed plans to participate in the city wide garage sale on Oct. 3. We will be located at the Wood Brothers building on South Main. Nancy Tate suggested that we enter a basket for the “Kickin’ Cancer” auction on Oct. 10. Member elected to do a kitchen themed basket. The next meeting will be at the home of Peggy Noel at 6:45 on Sept. 21.
