Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Dockery Park Shelter House was the first time the Prindle/Walton families gathered together. A brother and sister who was a Walton and then married a Prindle formed a part of this reunion. A lot of relatives were descendants from their father’s brothers and sisters. Families attended from North Carolina, Oklahoma, Kansas City, South Missouri, and surrounding cities and towns. The last count was close to 100 relatives who came and went all day long. Food, stories, games, pictures and meeting new relatives was enjoyed. The ending question was, “When is the next reunion?”
