9:15 am – A Daviess County warrant was issued for William S. Perkins, 45, Coffey, with charges of no valid license 3rd offense, felony D, and forgery, felony C. Perkins was in custody at time of issuance of the warrant on 24-hour hold. According to the probable cause report by Tpr. K. Cool, a computer check of Perkins’ vehicle prior to the stop on 162nd St. revealed that the plates did not match the vehicle. Perkins attempted to avoid the stop by taking a gravel road and turning into a private drive. A computer check further revealed that Perkins was revoked and had four no driver’s license convictions. The plates on the vehicle had been altered. He was taken to the regional jail on a 24-hour hold. Bond is set $15,000.
9:29 am – Assisting with medical call in Lock Springs.
10:01 am – Division of Senior Services requesting assistance with elderly male.
10:33 am – Assisting with medical call on Highway CC.
2:15 pm – To Jamesport on family dispute.
12:45 pm – MSHP arrested Yanike Mwanza, 23, Marshaltown, Iowa. Mwanza was transported to DDCRJ where a warrant was issued on a charge of no valid license, misdemeanor. Bond of $500 was posted and Mwanza was released.
3:50 pm – One-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 6 east of Altamont. No injuries.

5:31 pm – Assisting with medical call in Jamesport.
8:40 pm – Domestic disturbance east of Gallatin.
7-23-15
8 am – Assisting with traffic control for transfer of house from Lake Viking to property located west of Gallatin.
10:50 am – Call reference elderly family member.
11:58 am – Assisting with medical call south of Gallatin.
12:55 pm – Caldwell County advising they have William Hall, 47, Utica, in custody on Livingston County warrant for bond revocation on original charges of possession of controlled substance, class C felony. Hall is a change of venue case from Livingston County to Daviess County. He will be transferred to DDCRJ on $100,000 cash bond.
3:50 pm – Caldwell County advising they have Fawn Marriott, 24, Gallatin, in custody on Daviess County warrant for probation violation on original charges of endangering welfare of child and DWI, both misdemeanors. Marriott was transferred to DDCRJ on $2,000 cash bond.

8:20 am – MSHP took 2 individuals into custody. Subjects were transported to DDCRJ on a 24-hour investigative hold. Lillie King, 19, Colorado Springs, CO, was charged with 2 counts of class C felony possession of synthetic cannabinoid, THC Oil and LSD, class B felony possession of 35 grams of marijuana with the intent to distribute and 2 counts misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $35,000. Benjamin Danz, 31, Colorado Springs, CO, was charged with class B felony possession of 35 grams of marijuana with the intent to distribute, two counts of class C felony possession of synthetic cannabinoid, THC Oil and LSD and 4 counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $65,000 cash.
2:30 pm – Sheriff’s Office (SO) assisting DFS.
5:04 pm – Out with stranded motorist on Highway 69 one mile west of Winston Truck Stop.
5:20 pm – Residential alarm at residence in Lake Viking. All OK.
7:40 pm – Family member requesting well-being check on individual.
8:36 pm – Deputy arrested Jackson Anderson, 22, Kansas City, for misdemeanor driving while suspended. Anderson posted $300 cash bond and was released.
7-25-15
12:03 am – Deputy reporting cloud to ground lightning, 0 visibility, high winds and quarter-size hail near Jameson. Also water over the roads.
1:21 am – Union Pacific railroad reporting that tree has hit one of their trains. No derailment. Will need help removing tree.
5:14 am – Report of large tree blocking both lanes of Highway K north of Highway P south of Gilman City.
3:14 pm – Domestic disturbance in Coffey. Deputy took subject into custody and transported to DDCRJ for 24-hour investigative hold. Subject released after 24 hours with no charges filed.
6:28 pm – Report of harassment via internet.
7:11 pm – Subject wanting deputy to respond. People are driving by his house harassing him. Subject resides in Jamesport.
10:44 pm – Independence PD advising they believe missing juvenile from their city may be at residence in Daviess County.
10:45 pm – Tree blocking Highway CC at Vista Avenue north of Hamilton.

12:08 am – Missing juvenile from Independence found at residence given by PD.
12:10 am – Report of individual being harassed in Jamesport.
2:24 am – Two subjects were taken into custody and placed on 24-hour investigative holds from residence in Pattonsburg. Subjects were transported to DDCRJ. Terry Hayes, 57, was issued a criminal summons for misdemeanor possession of marijuana/paraphernalia and was released. Also charged with same and issued criminal summons was Karla Sanders, 43. Both subjects were released.
11:02 am – Report of bridge out on 142nd Street south of Unity in Colfax township south of Winston.
4:43 pm – Request check on MSHP trooper on traffic stop at I-35 and Highway BB.
7-27-15
1:07 am – Report of suspicious vehicle. Nothing further needed at this time.
5:39 am – Report of burglary at business north of Gallatin in city limits.
8:20 am – Report of property damage to Lake Viking church grounds.
9:45 am – Report of theft of 150 gallons of gasoline from residence in Jameson.
3:51 pm – Assisting Livingston and Grundy Counties on investigation east of Jamesport.
9:39 pm – Deputy arrested James Mason, 39, Gallatin, on a Daviess County warrant for failure to register as sex offender, class D felony. According to the probable cause report, Mason was due to register on July 7, 2015, and as of July 17, he had failed to register and had made no attempt to contact the sheriff’s office. Mason was transferred to DDCRJ on $15,000 bond.
