2:00 am – Invoking 12-hour no contact rule. Deputy transporting one person from above to Gallatin.

9:14 am – Sheriff out at lake.

1:52 pm – Sheriff’s Office (SO) out in Altamont.

3:16 pm – Cows close to road on 6 Highway near MoDOT.

4 pm – Hamilton PD advising that they have Brittany Karstens, 31, Gallatin, in custody on a Daviess County Warrant for probation violation on charges of non-support, misdemeanor A. Bond is set at $15,000. Karstens was transported to the DDCRJ.

8:39 am – SO en route to Jamesport.

9 am – Court in session.

9:24 am – Picketers at F and 6 Highway.

9:56 am – SO took into custody Britany Knox, 18, Calloway County. Knox is a runaway from Missouri Girls Town and is at the SO waiting to be transported back to facility.

12:45 pm – Caller advising of threatening scam phone call.

12:49 pm – Sheriff posted road closure notices.

1:08 pm – Harrison County advising of piece of steel on southbound I-35 at 70.1mm.

10:45 pm – Residential alarm going off.

11:25 pm – All secured on above residential alarm.

3:49 am – Caller checking on above alarm call. Advised all secured.

5:35 am – Car vs. deer on Highway 6. No injuries, some debris on roadway.

9 am – Walk-in to SO reporting scam. Caller from 1-866-996-5997 identifying himself as Mark Davis claiming that “you have won $90,000 from Walmart. “

6:04 pm – Gas drive off from Winston Pit Stop.

6:23 pm – SO at Winston Pit Stop.

7:07 pm – Suspicious person in Coffey.

10:59 pm – SO out with MSHP.

7-3-15

12:15 am – MSHP arrested Dionte Juarii Haynes, 26, Kansas City, Kan., for no valid license, possession of marijuana  and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Haynes was transported to DDCRJ where bond of $500 was posted and he was released.

5:13 am – C&I driver northbound I-35 near 72mm.

9 am – Courthouse closed in observance of Independence Day.

9:50 am – Lake Viking Safety needing assistance with possible vicious dog.

10:26 am – SO assist Lake Viking Security.

10:45 am – MSHP arrested Raymond C. Kopecky, 29, Des Plaines, Ill., for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Kopecky was transported to the DDCRJ. Bond of $750 was posted and he was released.

10:45 am – MSHP arrested Gary R. Rains, Jr., 30, Des Plains, Ill., for speeding, invalid plates, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana. Rains was transported to the DDCRJ where bond of $750 was posted and he was released.

1:42 pm – C&I white semi southbound I-35 from 69mm.

2:54 pm – Suspicious vehicle in driveway, individual walking/looking around then left.

5:39 pm – Caller advising of losing item out of bag on motorcycle between the 68mm and 40mm.

6:30 pm – MSHP arrested Michael Ryan Onder, 29, Kansas City, on a Platte County warrant for FTA on traffic charges. He was transported to the SO by sheriff’s deputy where bond of $130 was posted and he was released.

6:46 pm – SO assist MSHP.

7:42 pm – SO out at Lake Viking to assist with medical call.

7:42 pm – Possible domestic in Coffey.

8:33 pm – SO took a male subject into custody for driving while intoxicated. Subject was transported to the DDCRJ and placed on 12-hour hold for detox then released. A summons was issued.

8:55 pm – SO at Hedrick Medical Center.

10:22 pm – C&I driver westbound Highway 6 from Altamont.

10:58 pm – C&I driver westbound Highway 6 from Gallatin.

11:25 pm – Caller advising of hitting deer.

4:04 am – SO arrested Fallon Marie Ballard, 32, Rock Falls, Ill., for failing to drive in correct land and no valid license. Ballard was transported to the DDCRJ where bond of $500 was posted and she was released.

4:48 am – Assist medical call.

5:06 am – MSHP took a male subject into custody for no valid license and no proof of insurance. Subject was transported to the DDCRJ on a 24-hour investigative hold.  Subject was released after 24 hours.

5:53 am – Caller advising of damage to guard rail northbound I-35 at 67.7mm.

8:05 am – Damage to mailbox at Lake Viking.

9:15 am – Controlled burn in Jamesport.

2:18 pm – Controlled burn in Jamesport.

4:54 pm – SO on scene of accident.

6:06 pm – Possible domestic.

11:51 pm – Caller advising of threats being made.

11:08 am – Controlled burn Vista Avenue.

3:28 pm – Caller advising of being harassed.

5:58 pm – Report of stolen vehicle from Jameson.

7:16 pm – C&I driver southbound I-35 near 59mm.

8:04 pm – Hit and run accident.

8:26 pm – SO on scene of above.

10:20 pm – Deer hit northbound I-35 near 68mm. Debris is in both lanes, semi on shoulder.

5:55 am – Domestic in Altamont.

9 am – Court in session.

10:45 am – Vehicle from Jameson has been located. Possibly used without permission and presumed stolen.

11:35 am – SO arrested Samantha Bendickson, 22, Jamesport, from court on a Daviess County warrant with 6 counts of passing bad checks, misdemeanor A.  Bond is set at $5,000 cash with 10% allowed. She was transported by sheriff’s deputy to DDCRJ.

1:05 pm – MSHP arrested Jalal Uddin Buckner, 34, St. Paul, Minn., for driving without a license. Jalal was transported to the DDCRJ where bond of $500 cash was posted.

3 pm – SO arrested Richard Eugene Sweat, 22, Pattonsburg, on 5 warrants with charges of passing bad checks – misdemeanor A, driving while suspended – misdemeanor unclassified, 2 counts of operate vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility – misdemeanor unclassified, failure to register vehicle – misdemeanor B. Bond is set at $2,043.  OR bond was posted and he was released.
