Three candidates were interviewed for the elementary principal position by the Pattonsburg R-2 Board of Education during a special meeting held June 8. Alan McCrary was offered a transfer from high school math to the elementary principal position.

Eugene Thatcher was hired as a full-time custodian during the board’s regular meeting held June 22.
The board agreed to advertise for a full-time secretary and a bus driver.
The 2014-2015 budget amendments were approved along with all fund 1 and fund 3 (debt service) transfers.
The 2015-2016 budget was approved.
