In other business a discussion was held about movies in the park sponsored by Marilyn Demke. It was generally agreed that the board views it as a positive possibility. A letter of understanding was drafted and will need to be signed by both parties outlining rights and responsibilities. Upon agreement by both parties, dates need to be reviewed to coordinate with other potential events and avoid conflicts. Once dates are agreed upon, the board is in favor of moving forward.

The board agreed that it would like to have input on the signage which is proposed for the event. The board would like to emphasize that it is not partnering with or endorsing any particular Facebook group, entity, or business in the process.

David Marble moved to approve the written agreement and approve the first proposed date of June 13, subject to Ms. Demke meeting board requirements and all subsequent dates be considered for approval at regularly scheduled board meetings. Jeremy Dungy provided the second and the motion passed.

The above are the unapproved minutes of the special meeting for the Gallatin Park Board held on June 4 at the shelter house, Dockery Park. Present: Tim Tadlock, Sally Black, Joseph Billings, David Marble, Jakie Hogan, and Jeremy Dungy. There were no guests present.
