County Commission
Dave Linville discussed 175th Street in Sheridan Township with commissioners.
Ray Dockery, Home Exchange Bank, presented documents for lease purchase agreement for sheriff=s vehicles.
Bills were reviewed and approved.
Certified Order 2015-2, reimbursing $7,700 from the Law Enforcement Sales Tax Fund back to the Civil Fund, was authorized.
The road and bridge crew is completing cleanup of storm damage at various locations. Cleanup in Salem Township has been completed.
Discussion on Strategic Planning for Courthouse/Daviess County was discussed. Green Hills Regional Planning will be contacted regarding this.
The Board of Equalization and commissioners will meet at 8 a.m. on July 20.
Ron Urton, Howe Company LLC, discussed bridge and soft match issues within the county.
In the afternoon the commission inspected corrugated metal pipes on Quartz Avenue in Liberty Township, 187th & Midway in Liberty Township, and 151st & Elmwood in Benton Township in regards to a low water crossing. The county will be replacing the tube with a larger corrugated metal pipe and build the road up higher.
Dave Allen discussed brush issues around the county with the commissioners.

Circuit Court
The following cases were heard by Judge Thomas Chapman on June 3:
Carl A. Asher had previously plead guilty on April 15 to possession of controlled substance, class C felony. He received a suspended imposition of sentence and five years probation. He was ordered to serve 120 days shock jail time with credit for time served.
Probation was revoked for Mervin J. Mast on a class A misdemeanor charge of unlawful use of a firearm. The suspended imposition of sentence was revoked and he was sentenced to 60 days jail with credit for time served.
Cases bound over from the Associate Division: State vs. Jared T. Nachtigal, Centerville, Iowa, elder abuse first degree, class A felony; State vs. Emmett Campbell, Jamesport, rape or attempted rape first degree, unclassified felony.
A dissolution of marriage was granted to Lori M. Kerns from Stephen C. Kerns.

Breach of contract: Capital One Bank vs. Gloria A. Hillman was dismissed by the parties.
Suit on account: Cavalry SPV I LLC vs. Julie A. Holcomb was dismissed by the parties.
