County Commission
The road & bridge crew will be placing guardrail on the bridge on 242nd Street, Washington Township.
Solomon Bontrager discussed brush issues with commissioners. He is currently working on 200th Street in Salem Township.
Keith Gay, Union Township, discussed new subdivision by Otter and 230th Street paperwork. Curtis McAdams, Midland Survey, discussed the paperwork and will change the wording regarding the easements.
David Cox moved to approve AAccounting Policies and Internal Control Procedures@ with an annual review of the policy. Motion was seconded by Carl Carder and carried.
Carl McDaniel discussion on placement of a CMP in Washington Township.
Kenneth Youtsey, Liberty Township discussed storm damage reimbursements from FEMA.
Commissioners discussed community service workers around the county with Daren Adkins, associate judge. Community service workers through the associate courts are only sent to designated public entities.
Bills were reviewed and approved.
In the afternoon the commission inspected roads, bridges, brush, and storm damage in Jackson, Washington, and Grand River Townships.
