Murphy-Brown of Missouri, LLC (MBM) is pleased to announce that two outstanding students of the Gallatin R-V High School Class of 2015 have been selected to receive $500 Murphy-Brown of Missouri Community Scholarships to be used in furthering their education. Out of the 53 applications received from students across the Missouri counties where MBM has company-owned operations, Elisabeth Warner and Dane Brammer were selected to receive the two Community Scholarships.

Elisabeth Warner, daughter of Deborah Warner, plans to attend the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla to study Applied Mathematics. Throughout high school Elisabeth has been actively involved in a wide variety of organizations and has served in a variety of roles within the community. Elisabeth’s collegiate goals include studying abroad and participating in several humanitarian organizations.
Dane Brammer, son of Dennis and Kim Brammer, has maintained his excellent academic record while being actively involved in both school organizations and the Gallatin community. With the experience he gained through a lifetime on the farm and as a member of The National FFA Organization and several other organizations, Dane is well-prepared to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia to study Agriculture Economics and Plant Sciences.
In addition to the two Community Scholarships, Murphy-Brown of Missouri also selects two recipients for the MBM Family Scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be the child of a full-time MBM employee(s) employed for at least six months, or themselves currently employed by MBM and have worked at least six months. The recipients of the 2015 MBM Family Scholarships are Hunter Johnson of Nevada, Mo., and Sarah Elsberry of Leon, Iowa.
