Elijah Wolfe, 15, Pattonsburg, was seriously injured when he jumped into the path of a 1983 Honda 250 Big Red being driven by Dalton Hobson, also 15, of Pattonsburg.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 5:01 p.m. on May 3 as Dalton was driving eastbound on Oak Street at Central Street in Pattonsburg. Elijah was walking westbound on Oak Street and jumped into the path of the vehicle, which struck him. The three wheeler came to rest on Oak Street, facing eastbound.
Elijah was taken by Daviess County Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
The Honda was not damaged.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. K.J. Cool and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
