Landon was born on President’s Day, Feb. 16, 2009, to Lewis Jr.  “Chip” and Karla (Greenwell) Youtsey.

Landon was special from day one, with a very rare brain mutation called Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia. Although he could never walk or talk, his cute smile and sparkling blue eyes spoke a thousand words, and he used his facial expressions to communicate.

While Landon spent most of his time with Mom, and they were very close, he also loved playing with big brother Levi, looked up to his hero, Dad, and adored his older sister Keshia. He enjoyed attending Winston School, spending time with family and his very special teachers, caregivers and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Mema, Barbara Youtsey, and great-grandma, Wilma Youtsey.

He is survived by his parents and brother Levi of the home; sister, Keshia (Ethan Clark) and nephew Aspen Clark, Osborn; grandpa Lewis Youtsey, Winston; grandparents, Bill and Nadine Greenwell, Deepwater; many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and close friends.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. with the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, at Poland Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial will be at Alta Vista Cemetery, Weatherby. Memorials may be made to ECSE-Winston School (Early Childhood Special Education program) or Children’s Mercy Hospital. Online condolences may be left at www.polandthompson.com.
