Don and Betty (McCoy) Masters of Gallatin will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary at a dinner and reception Easter Sunday, April 5, at the former Closet Treasures & Video Store building on the corner of Market and Jackson Street in Gallatin (northwest corner of the square.)

Friends and relatives are invited to dinner at 1:30 p.m. and a reception at 3:30 p.m. A card shower would be appreciated. Their address is 405 Allen, Gallatin, Mo., 64640.

They were married April 7, 1945. Don and Betty moved from Saint Joseph to Altamont in 1959 where they farmed and had a dairy barn. They moved to Gallatin in 1977 where they owned and operated Masters’ Laundry and Car Wash and had several rental properties before retiring.

Hosting the event will be their daughter and two sons, Phyllis Lollar-Carder, Don Masters Jr., and Dave and Dixie Masters.

They have three children, 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
