11:05 am – Warrant was issued for Geoffrey Krum, 26, Austin, TX. Krum was arrested on 2-24-15. Charges filed are class C felony possession of a controlled substance (hallucinogen), and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana/paraphernalia. Bond is set at $35,000.
12:30 pm – MSHP arrested Joseph Shafer, 38, Oskaloosa, IA, on three outstanding warrants. Shafer is wanted for FTA for misdemeanor theft with $2,000 cash bond from Chillicothe PD, FTA for shoplifting from Rock Island, Ill., $10,000 bond and a US Marshals warrant for probation violation for fraud, no bond. Shafer will also be charged with misdemeanor no valid license for Daviess County and was transferred to DDCRJ.

2:20 pm – MSHP arrested Rashawn Mitchell, 23, Dubuque, IA, for no valid driver’s license. Bond is set at $500 cash. Mitchell was transferred to DDCRJ.

3:53 pm – C&I driver northbound I-35 near 85mm passing cars on shoulder.
11 pm – Individual receiving threatening messages.

2 am – MSHP arrested Justin Nei, 23, Chillicothe, for DWI. Nei was issued a summons and transferred to DDCRJ on 12-hour detox hold and released.
3:55 am – Assist stranded motorist on I-35 at the 77mm.
12:39 pm – Verbal domestic north of Winston.
1:42 pm – MSHP arrested Jeffrey Simmons, 48, Kansas City, for class D felony DWI and misdemeanor no valid license. Simmons was transferred to DDCRJ. Bond is set at $20,000.
2:30 pm – Funeral escort.
4:08 pm – Car into bridge on I-35 at the 76mm. No injuries but partially blocking interstate.
5 pm – SUV and trailer into bridge at the 74mm. No injuries, blocking one lane.

12:20 pm – MSHP arrested subject on I-35 at the 64mm. Subject was taken to DDCRJ on 24 hour investigative hold. Payton Meloy, 23, Clintonville, WI, was charged with possession of controlled substance (hash oil) class C felony and misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $35,000.
5:47 pm – Subject in Pattonsburg needing assistance with family member.
6:25 pm – Several 911 calls regarding car driving south in the northbound lane of I-35.
6:32 pm – Above vehicle has had head-on collision with semi near the 90mm in Harrison County.
