Seven members of the Winston Junior High Band travelled to Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville for their annual Band Junior High Solo Contest on Feb. 21. Performers were ranked from 1 being the best in a scale of 1,2, and 3 by a professional musician of the same instrument. All seven members earned a 1 rating for a superior performance of their solos.
