Gallatin wrestlers faced Stanberry last Thursday in a final tuneup for this Friday and Saturday’s district tournament, which will be held at Maysville High School.

Joining Gallatin at Maysville will be Albany, Brookfield, Carrollton, Marceline, Maryville, Hamilton, Polo, Rock Port, South Harrison, Southwest Livingston, Stanberry and Tarkio.
Gallatin picked up forfeit victories against Stanberry in the lower weight classes from Jared Williams (120), Rian Critten (126), Caleb Boyd (132) and Tanner Johnson (138).
Winners by fall included Caleb Michael (145), Trystan Sunby (182), Jesse Bundy (195) and Michael Stanley (220). Michael McLey pulled out a 4-3 win over his opponent in the 285-pound class.
Declan Schweizer (152), CJ Richards (160) and Dalton Swalley (170) were unable to bring home victories for Gallatin., which finished with a 51-12 team win.
