Paulene Elizabeth Landes, 94, Claycomo, passed away January 19, 2015, at New Mark Care Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 23, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Old Scotland Cemetery, near Jameson, Mo. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation.

Paulene was born November 24, 1920, to C.V. and Alta Mae Terry in Daviess County. On November 1, 1940, she married Walter David Landes while he was home on leave from the U.S. Army. They lost one child, a daughter, Linda Kay, who lived just a few hours following her birth on December 25, 1942. Paulene was a long-time member of the Claycomo Church of Christ from 1950 until the time of her passing. Paulene was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter, and a brother, Lowell.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Elaine (Mark) Flannery and Gloria Arlene (Bart) Ball; 4 grandchildren, Brett, Ethan, Troy and Trent; 4 great grandchildren, Jordyn, Morgan, Myah and Meagan; and a brother, Norris Terry.
