Sylvia was born on Dec. 7, 1954, in Richmond, Calif., to John Amantite and Dorothy Linn.
She had her Bachelor of Science in Education and was a Certified Public Accountant for 25 years. Sylvia was a dedicated mother and housewife.
Survivors: husband, Leonard Charles Gum, Maysville; son, Dannill Haan, Maysville; mother, Dorothy Linn, Maysville; 2 brothers, Daniel Amantite and Vince Amantite, Maysville; 3 grandchildren, Mercedes, Tammy and Mallory.
