A Darlington man received minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 9 p.m. on Jan. 4 in Daviess County.

According to a report by the highway patrol, Dorian Middleton, 39, Darlington, was westbound on Cord Avenue about one mile north of Pattonsburg. His 1999 Ford Explorer traveled off the north side of the road and struck a tree. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels off the north side of the roadway.

Mr. Middleton, who was not wearing his seat belt, was transported by private vehicle to Cameron Regional Medical Center.

The vehicle had extensive damage.

The accident was investigated by Tpr. A.K. Griffin, assisted by Cpl. J.M. Cross, and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
