I found the website http://daviesscountyhistoricalsociety.com/ while searching for the family of our great aunt, Beatrice McClung Hanson, and found your email. She was married later in life to my great uncle John Sven Aaron Hanson. She is the daughter of Alex N. McClung and Anna O’Daniel.
We have found McClung/O’Daniel family heirlooms while going through our mother’s items. We do not want them, but would like to return them to the McClung/O’Daniel family. We have Alex and Anna’s marriage certificate, old negatives of the “family farm,” and pages that look like they were torn out of a family bible.
We will probably find more things, and would like to know of a family member or Pattonsburg or Daviess County historical society who would want these items. They are in the Excelsior Springs area, and we can easily get them to the Pattonsburg area.
